Beca is a CrossFit Level 1 Coach.
She is originally from Harlingen, Texas (in the Rio Grande Valley), but she moved to San Antonio in 2007 for grad school.
Beca was a “runner” before CrossFit, and has run a full marathon, 6 half-marathons, too many 5K’s and 10K’s to count, two Tough Mudders, two Beach to Bay relay marathons, a Spartan Race, and countless (very boring) treadmill miles. But she never truly knew fitness until she came to Lobo.
When Beca started CrossFit at Lobo in January of 2017, she was a bit hesitant but eager to try something new. She quickly fell in love with Lobo and the Pack, and she discovered her inner athlete. She is constantly inspired, encouraged, and motivated by the other athletes at Lobo.
Outside of Lobo, Beca works for a non-profit organization. Her passion is helping people to become the best version of themselves, and her job allows her to assist students through college access and success.
In her free time, she’s either super active – running (now somewhat reluctantly), bicycling, or chasing after her niece/nephews – or completely inactive – Netflixing, eating, or reading. Life’s about balance.
