For most of my life, I have struggled with my weight and with finding a fitness program that best suits me. After I had my son, I finally decided enough was enough and made the decision to commit to a healthier lifestyle. I initially started thinking about CrossFit after hearing success stories from friends and family members. While browsing videos online, I couldn’t help but think to myself, “How am I ever going to do THAT?!” Despite my fear, I began my search for a box.
I started hunting around online for a place to go. I called several boxes and ended up meeting Dee at CrossFit Lobo. Dee was warm, welcoming and assured me that he and his team would support me in achieving my fitness goals. He encouraged me to come check out a CrossFit 101 class.
From day one at CrossFit Lobo, I was hooked. I’ve never felt so encouraged in my fitness journey. No matter your fitness level, the Lobo family makes you feel like you are an important part of the group. It is an incredible feeling when others have finished a workout before you and stand on the sidelines to cheer you on. Even more incredible are those moments you can actually measure your progress. I anxiously await the posting of the workout for the next day and look forward to going to class. I love the diversity of CrossFit workouts. You are always doing something different and it is absolutely impossible to become bored. Yes, I’ve lost a significant amount of weight along the way but more importantly – I’ve become stronger, healthier and happier.”
